Consignors make it interesting.....

Corey&Co features the work of several consignors who are from Portland or have ties to the area. It is great for the shop because it broadens the range of goods carried. I hope it is great for them, too.
Vessels from Catherine Lo, hand-painted beads from Melinda Titus. Mixed metals from Svea and Tiny Worlds.

Fabric as friend

Sometimes a fabric fights you all the way to the finished product. This sturdy cotton stripe was my pal all the way to the last scrap! I bought it at AK Fabrics in the garment district /NYC and I hope they have some left next trip. I even used it to trim out a men's linen jacket (my first ever) made for shop-neighbor Angus. We traded jacket-for-porch steps. He wore it to a wedding with a kilt!

Days "off"

And finally, the finished, washed garment swings in the breeze.
