Christine burst into the shop this week, complete with show-and-tell. Freshly back from 2 weeks in Paris, she had treasures ! For me, it was a school-day. To see other makers' fabrics, seams, tucks, and flourishes is a learning experience always. The details sont tres important ! Merci, Christine

color boost

I love tulips, even when they are doing their swan song. Flowers are not the only colorful element in the shop these days. The colors of spring and summer are muscling their way in - taking their place among my beloved neutrals. I have a stash of richly hued linens to work with and Miki has been finding some amusing cotton prints. Pictured here: 2 of my linen offerings and a wrap dress by Miki of Moondance Wear.

'Back from another Cleveland trip. Shapes, shapes, shapes.My sister and I spend a lot of time in the car there, criss-crossing the urban landscape.  So.....shapes of buildings, bridges, signs, highways,... all still playing bumper cars in my head.
