step back, step forward

One more simple-simple wool image before forging ahead - and a slightly larger, if grayer, version of the "spring" dress. The good news: my camera is back in color mode. All I had to do was get out the manual and it snapped into shape.

This is the first out-put of my new "think spring" attitude. I feel like this fun, graphic, tent-like piece is a good transitional perk-up. Leggings and boots for now, sandals for later. Thanks to Melinda for taking the photo, as I am still stuck in sepia.

winter palette

My camera is stuck in some crazy black/grey/sepia mode and I am too inept to change it. I know I have done it before, but perhaps it takes more than the 10 seconds of time I am willing to give it. Who knows where I put the manual ?? Oh well, just put it down and sew something, I say. I seem to be stuck in using these exact colors anyway.....maybe my camera is trying to tell me something. I will endeavor to fix machine, purchase brighter fabrics, will spring to come.

here's to new messes

It is the expected slow-down time in the shop.....an opportunity to work on designs, printing, etc. So I keep telling myself. First step: haul in the beergarten table for an extra work surface. Next step: make big messes. Third step: create with my hands what I see in my head. I hope.
