I have been making summer 'frocks' using Marimekko yardage. The prints are bold and have plenty of personality of their own, so I keep it simple, maybe changing up the neckline or sleeve. Basic shapes seem the best way to let the prints sing. The bottom photo shows a striped ARCHERIE dress hanging in the foreground.
