Sometimes a fabric fights you all the way to the finished product. This sturdy cotton stripe was my pal all the way to the last scrap! I bought it at AK Fabrics in the garment district /NYC and I hope they have some left next trip. I even used it to trim out a men's linen jacket (my first ever) made for shop-neighbor Angus. We traded jacket-for-porch steps. He wore it to a wedding with a kilt!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz3hAe5Iu-1wvn2VASdp9ei9x8SSFb3zYubgBnXzfaNsn6PBJNAJrZPO-4XZn_8C20A67DMWLXN9OIwfITRHzT-MIyOrZulaRsnWbJCVXS_fBaHLr4J0_9ZKNrqYMjyNPJiGTOyq-Y8aI/s320/IMG_0228.JPG)
